Modern Slavery compliance
Jurisdictions around the world are increasingly requiring companies to have Modern Slavery compliance programmes in place to prevent the risk of forced labour and human trafficking from occurring within their operations and supply chains.
The United Kingdom, Australia, France, the Netherlands and Norway have enacted laws that require companies to publicly disclose their efforts, and there are rapid developments in the United States and Canada which are following similar steps.
Many multinational organisations with global supply chains are finding that they will have to comply with such requirements, if they are to continue conducting business in these jurisdictions, regardless of where they are headquartered.
